“First Post”
“First Post” is a common thing to claim in the web world these days (examples: Red vs. Blue discussion threads, Woot.com during woot-offs, etc.). Why? The first post is the beginning. It gets read the most. So why waste it just stating that it’s the first post? Just something to think about.
For my first post on my blog, I thought I’d outline why, exactly, I made it in the first place (for myself and for anyone who happens to stumble across it). It’s a pretty straight forward reason; blogs are easy ways to organize thoughts without much effort. With features such as tagging and categorization, it’s like maintaining a sortable memo pad with a built in search feature. What better way to make non-private notes to be referenced at a later date?
